Workouts

There are many different workouts that you can do to help increase your metabolism and muscle, and lose fat. I have personally not only tried all of these BUT have tried them and still use them.
I have learned from experience that not every workout is for everyone. If you don't like to work out it may be because you haven't found the workout that suits your needs and keeps you occupied positively long enough suitable results for you to continue doing it. Also, with a work out you want results - if you can't stick to it or you don't see the results you want then it is worthless to you.
Choose a workout to learn more but also remember to follow the guidelines to make sure you are choosing a workout that is right for you!

So, how do you know that your workout is actually working?
1. You will feel tension in the muscle group that you worked out.
***At first you may be sore. This is a build up of lactic acid in your muscles. After a workout if you have a big glass of milk or some whey protein this can help you to recover quicker. If you have been working out for a while this build up will go away and you will not be sore. How do you know that you had a good workout? You will feel it after your work out and after a shower and rest it will go away but you will still feel great!
2. You will SWEAT during your workout and AFTER.
***Sweat is great for your body! It is pushing out toxins and cooling your body off. FACT: It is actually best not to wipe away your sweat (with the exception of out of your eyes so you don't blind yourself) because it will cool your body

off naturally. You will also sweat after your workout and usually it is more than during. Again, your body is working hard to cool you down, so it produces more sweat than during a workout.
3. You will experience the best drug on Earth! ***Endorhines wil invade your brain and you will feel amazing. This is a natural hormone that your body produces. You will feel like you are walking on the clouds. You may feel like you want to smile and even though you may not be smiling your insides will feel like they are. (It is the most wonderful feeling in the world.) 4. It won't be easy. ***Hate to say it but if you are having a good workout it isn't going to be easy the whole time. Losing weight or maintaining muscle is not going to be a complete walk in the park. With persistence though it can be fun even though it may be a little difficult. If your workout is easy you are not doing enough to challenge yourself. You can fool other people but your body cannot be fooled. How do I decide which workout is best? |
1. It is motivational.
***I don't know about you but you don't want to be in a workout that you feel defeated at already. By motivational you will feel a couple of things. Your workout may be fun and encourages you to continue to do it (But remember to follow the guidelines on whether your workout is working or not). Your workout may not be like a party but you can feel it and you feel that you can do it. You can relate to the people that are either giving the class or on the video. You know that overall with practice you can conquor the workout and figure it but also get the workout your body needs. 2. It challenges you just right. ***Just as mentioned above you don't want to feel defeated in your workout. So, look for a workout that gives you the confidence but also shows you that it is working (see above). |
