These pancakes are phenomenial. They are super healthy for you and taste SO amazing...and I'm not just saying that because they are healthy. I don't eat things that taste bad... I just can't do it. Each serving is low in fat, calories, and is jam packed with protein and fiber. It really is good for you and when you add in the blueberries OR chocolate (you choose - my husband loves blueberries, I love chocolate, but I am starting to love the blueberry too, so I have half and half most times but have started to have blueberry in all but one pancake...chocolate goes in the last one, which takes all of my cravings away for the WHOLE day and there is only like 6-8 morsels compared to 4-5 handfuls! Big difference! Anyways - here is what you need:
There are 3 serving sizes for each. When I make them for my husband and I, I use the 2nd serving which makes 12-14 pancakes (which is really 6-8 good sized ones..I don't make dinky pancakes!) You can also make waffles with this mix too... mmmmmm!
Make sure when you make these that after you mix everything together (I use a 4 cup measuring cup to mix it in... quick and easy with very little mess) you let it set for 5 minutes. It lets the buckwheat grains kind of expand - trust me, it tastes SO much better.
When I add the fruit, I put as much as I want. I don't measure. But, if I was to guess for the 2nd serving size I put about 1 - 1 1/2 cups of wild blueberries. and the chocolate I don't mix. I scatter them around the pancake and smush them down so the mix goes over top, somtimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
I promise, this will be a hit with you and your family. Try it! :)
And, no, I am not a sales person for this product lol. I just think it is that stinkin' good and I get my chocolate in moderation, which keeps my chocolate pains at ease until the next morning.
Enjoy!
:) Lauren
